⌚Inspired by a true story, Radium Girls traces the efforts of Grace Fryer, a dial painter, as she fights for her day in court. Her chief adversary is her former employer, Arthur Roeder, an idealistic man who cannot bring himself to believe that the same element that shrinks tumors could have anything to do with the terrifying rash of illnesses among his employees. As the case goes on, however, Grace finds herself battling not just with the U.S. Radium Corporation, but with her own family and friends who fear that her campaign for justice will backfire.

🚀Recently, the CCHS Engineering & Design Class was proud to host special guests from Lockheed Martin in the Innovation Lab, to provide insight into working at the world's leading global security, defense and aerospace contractor.
🎤Michael Cunningham, Space Quality Manager gave an overview of what it's like to work at Lockheed including the array of careers and experience that can be gained as a Lockheed employee. Will Nawn, also an employee at Lockheed was able to share his "day to day" responsibilities with our prospective engineers here at CCHS!
⚙Mr. Cunningham led a STEM activity for our students centered on the Deep Space Network, and kindly left each student with a gift bag. Thank you, Lockheed Martin and Mr. Cunningham and Mr. Nawn for taking the time out of your very busy schedules to help show us engineering in the real world!

☘CCHS alumni and current The Catholic University of America students were blessed to gather with Bishop Sullivan, Coadjutor Bishop Williams and Fr. Robbins while they were on campus for the Diocesan Marian Pilgrimage at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception.

Grace Martin '25 and Kaelynn Jackson '25 recognized as 2024 National Merit Commended Scholars, as a part of the highest performing students on the 2023 PSAT.
Camden Catholic was honored to be one of the schools present at the 23rd annual Blue Mass this morning.
Students from our executive government along with children of first responders were among those in attendance. The Mass honored South Jersey’s women and Men in law enforcement, fire and emergency medical services.

The Class of 2025 enjoyed waking up early for Senior Sunrise on September 9 with an adorable Traveller Coffee Truck and green goodies from Baked by Becks as they gathered at Dulczak Family Field for their "last first day" as high schoolers.
The Class of 2028 were welcomed into their freshman year with bright smiles and warm hearts during Link Crew Orientation on September 4. Between music, dancing, games, ice breakers and school tours, the freshmen were able to learn more about their new classmates, their Link Crew leaders, and what to expect during the school year.

☘️Sophia Stazi '27 was honored with the Breakthrough Female Athlete of the Year award at the 2024 NJ.com High School Game Changers Awards!
🏑Sophia was named First Team All State as a freshman on the Irish Field Hockey team. She led the team with 33 goals and 11 assists, scoring an overtime goal to beat #2 nationally ranked St. John's, and scoring in the state championship game to earn the Irish their second consecutive title!
⚖️Rising seniors Haley Dennis, Keely McAteer, Patrick Kelly and Archie Bednarek were honored to participate in Boys State and Girls State this summer! Boys and Girls State are prestigious college-level, educational programs focusing on participation and personal experience in a model state, complete with governmental bodies and elected officials.

Summer Office Hours begin June 17, 2024. CCHS administrators and facility staff hours are Monday through Thursday from 8AM to 3PM. Offices are closed on Fridays and between the hours of 12-12:30PM Monday-Thursday. A staff member will be present in the Main Office during summer hours for any deliveries and general phone calls.
Camden Catholic is saddened to announce that Denise Croce Neri, class of 1967, and legendary actress and musical theater director, passed away on April 9, 2024. As a student, Denise left an indelible mark on the Camden Catholic stage, performing as Guenevere in Camelot and as Elsa in The Sound of Music. As an alumna, she returned to take over the theater program from 2006 to 2014, directing hundreds of students who recall their years with her as formative experiences.
Camden Catholic sends our prayers and sympathies to Denise's family and her many friends, especially her sons Jason '92, Justin '95 and Josh '96.

🏅Congratulations to Kyle Aquino '25 who was presented with the 2024 Widener University High School Leadership Award!
🏆The award recognizes high school juniors who have displayed exemplary leadership in their communities. Kyle was honored at a ceremony held last week at the National Constitution Center.
🎓In addition to being recognized as a young leader, Kyle will participate in our prestigious Apogee Leadership Scholars program and receive a $20,000 scholarship over 4 years if he chooses to enroll at Widener University. Apogee Scholars also participate in 4 years of leadership programming.
On Holy Thursday we pray: Lord, we thank You for the gift of Your Son. May our entry into the mysteries of His life, death and resurrection give us the confidence to live with unshakeable faith in Your faithful and abiding love. We make this prayer to You in His name. Amen.

Congratulations to Irish Winter Track athletes Noah Sanders '24, Kevin Ellis '24 and Beatrice Daverso '24 who represented CCHS at the Non-Public A State Championships. Beatrice, CCHS' first female pole vaulter broke her own record by 1', vaulting to 10' and placing second! She will move on to compete at the Meet of Champions on March 3. Noah placed 16th and Kevin placed 29th in the shot put.
