Alumni & Named Scholarships

The Lyn E. and James C. Kelly Scholarship for students at Camden Catholic High School was launched in 2019. In memory of his wife Lyn, Class of ‘58, Jim Kelly created the Lyn E. and James C. Kelly Scholarship fund to award $5,000 to incoming students who are hard-working, show academic promise, and an extreme desire to strengthen their faith through Catholic education.

Applicants should be hard working, tenacious, eager to learn while demonstrating academic promise.  This scholarship will be awarded for the student’s tenure at Camden Catholic High School, but each “Kelly Scholar” must maintain an overall GPA of 3.0 in order to receive the scholarship for the following school year.  Any “Kelly Scholar” who falls below an overall GPA of 3.0 will be reviewed and put on probation for a semester to improve their grades. If after the probation, the student does not improve, the scholarship would be terminated.
