Bowling team ball holders

Camden Catholic has resurrected its Irish Bowling Team thanks to the leadership of new faculty member Mr. Joe Nawn with the assistance of alumnus and faculty member Mr. Mike Kettelberger. The team has over 30 members who are growing in their individual skills and through team comraderie as they compete in the Olympic Conference.

First season highlights thus far include two members, Alex Cruz '23 and Angelo Oliverio '23 creating customized bowling ball holders for each team member in the St. Thomas Aquinas Innovation Lab with the 3D printer.

The entire team helped to promote their very first fundraiser "Spare a Can to Strike Out Hunger" at Westbrook Bowling Lanes, where they raised close to $2,000 and collected over 150 cans that were donated to local food banks.

Angelo Oliverio '23 also earned second place for high series in their first tournament, competing with 22 local teams.  Angelo shot 236, 210, 256 (a near perfect game) for a 702 series, meaning he averaged 234.

Congratulations and continued good wishes on the rest of the season, Irish Bowling!
