CCHS announced today that beginning next school year, busing will be provided to Gloucester County and Philadelphia.
To build on the Irish Opportunity program announced earlier this year by new CCHS President James Hozier, and in an effort to continue to make the Irish Experience accessible to all students and families who wish to attend Camden Catholic, Mr. Hozier has announced these new bus routes in order to ease the burden of transportation on families desiring to attend Camden Catholic.
The new routes include convenient stops at Guardian Angels School in Swedesboro and Holy Angels School in Woodbury. Both schools are located in Gloucester County. In addition, Mr. Hozier has secured a bus route through four stops in South Philadelphia and the Society Hill neighborhood of Philadelphia. The Philadelphia stops are also located near Philadelphia Archdiocesan middle schools including: St. Mary's Interparocial, St. Monica's, St. Anthony of Padua and St. Pio Regional Catholic School.
"Both Gloucester County and South Philadelphia have thriving Catholic schools where we have seen an increase in interest from their middle school students. We want to do whatever we can to help new families to take advantage of the benefits of attending Camden Catholic," shared Mr. Hozier. "Our convenient location just off Routes 38 and 70, only a few miles from the Ben Franklin Bridge, and just off of Route 130 from Gloucester County, make this addition to our transportation efforts an easy one," he said.
Families who would be interested in utilizing these new bus routes for the 2026-27 academic year are asked to complete this brief form so the CCHS Office of Transportation can begin to plan.
