Each year, The Joseph Fund honors an individual with The Monsignor McDermott Philanthropy and Community Service Award. This award recogizes an individual who has played a selfless role in ensuring Camden families can access the best academic environment and resources. As Father Bob often said, education is the most powerful tool in breaking generational poverty. Along the way, community leaders mentor our youth to reach new heights, and upon graduating, they carry forward the mission of creating a better world. The Joseph Fund is proud to announce that this year’s honoree is none other than Monsignor Andy Martin.
As you know, Msgr. Martin has a significant history of creating opportunities for all students to belong at Camden Catholic. While he has formally retired, he remains a beloved and active presence in the community. We hope you will join us in October to celebrate Msgr. Martin’s lifetime of educational leadership and service to the community.
