On Monday, June 9, 2025 the Board of Trustees of Camden Catholic High School announced that James I. Hozier, currently serving as Principal of Father Judge High School in Philadelphia, has been appointed by Most Reverend Joseph A. Williams, Bishop of Camden, as Camden Catholic High School President, effective July 1, 2025.

As principal of Father Judge, he has spearheaded key initiatives including enhanced staff development, a Freshmen Summer Readiness program, and targeted efforts to close post-pandemic learning gaps in mathematics. Further, Father Judge expanded its science labs, added an Esports arena and podcast studio, and upgraded technology offerings during his tenure.  Mr. Hozier also played a pivotal role in growing the fundraising capabilities at Father Judge which will serve him well as we expand our fundraising opportunities at Camden Catholic.

Mr. Hozier is known for his dedication to developing students spiritually, morally, and academically, embodying the same vibrant, holistic vision for education we have developed here at Camden Catholic.

Mr. Hozier is a graduate of Delaware Valley College (B.S., Biology, 2012), and holds advanced degrees from Rutgers University - Camden (M.S., Molecular Biology, 2014) and Gwynedd Mercy University (M.S. Educational Leadership and Administration with Principal Certification, 2020).
