camden catholic new faculty

We are very excited to welcome some new staff members to the building this year!

Mr. Gerry Luke will be joining CCHS as the Vice Principal for Academic Affairs. Gerry comes to us with Catholic school experience in the archdiocese of Philadelphia. He has his MS in Professional Education from St. Joseph’s University and has recently finished his certificate in Catholic Educational Leadership. Gerry’s experience as a Middle States coordinator and academic leader will assist him as he takes on this new role at CCHS.

Mrs. Mary Gregory will be joining us the Director of Campus Ministry. Mary comes to us with experience both at the high school and university levels after working at the Academy of Notre Dame de Namur in Villanova and three Pennsylvania universities. Her passion for service and Catholic schools will help as she continues the good work of the Campus Ministry office.

Mr. Michael Carandang will be continuing at CCHS full time in the Religion Department this year.

Deacon Tobias Haley will also be continuing at CCHS as a School Operations Assistant and part time in the Religion Department.

Ms. Carleen Baron will be continuing at CCHS full time in the General Arts Department teaching choir, piano, and guitar.

Ms. Nancy Davenport will also be joining our General Arts Department teaching Fundamentals of Art, Photography, and Yearbook. Nancy has taught fine arts, graphic arts, and has worked on the yearbook the schools where she taught. Her experience will be an asset to our art program.

Dr. Paul Sbarra will be joining the Science Department. Paul worked for some time as a chiropractor and has most recently been teaching Biology and Anatomy at RCSJ.

Mr. Donald Whirlow is joining the faculty in the Mathematics Department.

Ms. Breanne Nunn will be joining the World Language Department to teach Spanish. Breanne is a CCHS Alumna and a recent graduate from St. Joseph’s University with a double major in Spanish and Math. She is looking forward to coming back to teach at CCHS!

The staff in the front office is also changing! Carmilla Carucci will be moving upstairs to support the work of the advancement offices. We are welcoming Barbara Hertline and Louetta Rossi part time in the front office.
