DCSW

This week is Discover Catholic Schools Week (DCSW)! Functioning as a companion to Celebrate Catholic Schools Week (CSW), which takes place from this January 28 to February 3, DCSW highlights the benefits of Catholic education.  Visit our social media channels each day of this week as we feature the various aspects of our Catholic school community.

Here at Camden Catholic High School, we are dedicating each day this week to different facets of our community: students, parents, teachers, faith-based community, and alumni and donors. As a Catholic school, our students receive an education based in Catholic values, given constant opportunities to grow in their faith and discover their purpose.

Our students are aptly prepared for the world after high school, shaped to be well-rounded individuals with solid values.

We are so thankful for the parents of our students and their choice of Catholic schooling, taking initiative in their children’s learning experience and contributing supportively to our community.

Our teachers are also intrinsic to the success of our students; each of them are dedicated to educating our students, pushing them to academic excellence and developing their skills to be lifelong learners in Catholic tradition. They make meaningful connections with our students, fostering a warm, familial community and allowing students to flourish.

Our faith-based community is steeped in the Catholic tradition of mercy, as we are heavily involved in community service, and a plethora of faith-building service retreats are offered to our students throughout the year. We attend mass at least once a month as a school community, morning mass is offered almost every day before school begins, and we participate in confession quarterly.

Our alumni and donors make our school’s development and innovation possible. Their loyalty is an invaluable contribution to our community, and we feel their presence throughout our school as we are surrounded by their generosity.

Each and every member of our community is valued, and we are so proud to call Camden Catholic our home.
