Kevin McDonnell '08 earned a spot to compete in the 2024 Olympic Marathon Trials after running a 2:17:22 at the Chicago Marathon on October 8, 2023. Kevin says "Over the next couple of months I will continue to balance my professional and athletic life to the best of my ability. As the marathon training block builds I will be running upwards of 140-150 miles per week with multiple gym sessions weekly to promote strength and recovery. "
Kevin was a Division I All-American and record-setter at Saint Joseph's University. He has donated his time and expertise to help guide the CCHS Cross Country program when he is available, as he also works as a Senior Associate on the Investor Services team at Hamilton Lane Advisors, an alternative investment management company based in Conshohocken. At Hamilton Lane his primary focus is on investor reporting, internal controls, and analytics for preexisting clients and prospects.
