Share your blessings to make a student’s life shine.
The Irish Blessing Scholarship Program is designed to have the Camden Catholic community of alumni and friends share their blessings by making an investment in a young man or woman whose financial situation may not allow them to receive a Camden Catholic education.
We are grateful to the scholarships we currently receive for students at Camden Catholic. Over $900,000 is awarded in tuition aid to Camden Catholic students annually. With the rising costs of running a high school, the inevitable rise in tuition, and the difficult economy, it has become more difficult for parents to choose Catholic education for their children.
You can make a difference in the life of a teenager with this program. There are many causes seeking your attention but helping a student receive a Camden Catholic education perpetuates the legacy that has been a part of South Jersey families for 130 years.
Selection of Recipients
Students are selected based on academic performance and demonstrated financial need. The criteria for selection includes the following:
- Parents are required to fill out a financial aid form.
- Students must maintain a B academic average, possess a positive attitude, be active in their community service projects, and be active in a CCHS activity.
Donors will be asked to make a four-year pledge to fund a portion of a student’s annual tuition (which is approximately $9,575). Your gift is tax-deductible and can be made monthly, semi-annually, or annually. The donor may remain anonymous or share in the student’s progress and achievement.
