Orientation, transition, and adjustment to high school.

Begin career exploration and research potential college majors. Naviance is introduced, which students and parents will use throughout high school to explore careers, college majors and college applications.

The college planning process begins with research of college options and developing their list of schools for applications during senior year.

Counselors continue to guide students during senior year to support the application process and scholarship searches.


College representatives from across the country visit the Guidance Office throughout the fall during 3rd through 6th periods. Click here for schedule.

Hosted by the CCHS Guidance Office annually each September, over 100 colleges and universities attend.

Held on the same evening as the College Fair, Financial Aid Officials will clarify federal, state, scholarship and grant programs for higher education.

Hosted by the Guidance Department for rising seniors in the summer before senior year in order for them to get a head start on the admissions process. Students complete the week with finished college applications and essays. Multiple sessions offered each summer. Guest speakers include admissions representatives from top universities.

100% of CCHS students take the PSAT and SAT. Guidance Department provides students the tools to prepare for the PSAT, SAT, ACT and SAT II. Kaplan workshops are offered throughout the year.

Camden County Dual College Credit Program

Camden Catholic High School is a participant in Camden County College’s Dual Credit Program. The courses included in this program are French III, French IV, Spanish III, Spanish IV and Spanish V. Information about enrolling in these courses is available in class during the first quarter.

Rowan College

Through this partnership with Rowan College, students may enroll in college courses and take advantage of Rowan’s College Planning Center. Please check in the Guidance Office for more information.

Seton Hall University Project Acceleration

SHU offers a dual credit program for students who are taking courses at CCHS that are approved for credit at the university. Students enrolled in these courses will be given information about the dual credit option.
