Scientist for a Day: July 17-27
Do you sometimes imagine yourself wearing a scientist’s lab jacket? Spend two weeks with us exploring what scientists do through hands-on activities like dissecting, launching rockets, making bouncing balls and more! All materials provided. Lab jacket optional.

Monday through Thursday – 9 am -12:30 pm Cost $350
For Students Entering Grades 5-9


Forensic Science: July 5 – 13
Students interested in forensic science and exploration should sign up for this two-week camp. Students will engage in various hands on experiences during the week including fingerprinting, examining evidence and crime scene investigation.
Monday through Thursday – 9 am – 12: 30 pm – Cost $250
For Students Entering Grades 5-9

Algebra II Skills: July 5-13 and 17-27
Students entering Algebra II in September should participate in this program as they will receive instruction and guided practice while completing their summer packet. By the end of this course, students will be well prepared for the test the first week of school. 
Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m.–12:30 p.m. Cost $250.


Writing and Presentation Skills: July 5 – 13
Students interested in learning the best presentation and writing skills for school should sign up for this two week workshop. Students will work with a high school teacher on different types of school presentation tips as well as the best way to present writing assignments. Students will complete an original presentation by the end of their session.

For Students Entering Grades 5-9

Study Skills: July 17 – 27
This two-week camp is designed to help students build confidence and independence in their studies. Students will learn the skills needed to be successful in school including note taking, organization, and planning. Students will learn about their own learning strengths and how to develop these strengths to be successful in the classroom.

For Students Entering Grades 7-9

High School Placement Test
Session 1: July 17 – 20
Session 2: July 24 – 27
Students will spend one week learning the basics of the High School Placement Test in preparation for the test in the fall. Students will learn about the structure of the test and complete practice problems to prepare. Practice materials included.
Monday through Thursday – 9 am – 12:30 pm Cost $150
For Students Entering Grade 8

High School Transition: July 18 – 28
This two-week experience is designed for the incoming high school freshman. High School teachers will go over what is important to know the first few weeks of school including time management, note taking, organization, and study skills. High school is a big transition for every student. A little bit of information helps make the transition a little bit easier.
