Why consider legacy giving?
Legacy giving provides a time-honored method for a donor to express generosity and commitment to Camden Catholic High School, while benefiting both the donor and the School. Depending on the legacy giving vehicle, donors may continue to enjoy income and other benefits while making a gift. In addition, the federal tax code provides for various legacy gift instruments, which may offer benefits that may favorably affect a donor’s present and future income and estate taxes.
Gifts We Gratefully Accept
Camden Catholic High School accepts gifts for the purpose of furthering its mission. Legacy gifts can come in the form of a deferred gift, a gift where the School benefits from a remainder interest, or a combination of the two. The available options include:
- Charitable Gift Annuities
- Charitable Remainder Trusts
- Real Property
- Life Insurance
Recognition of Gifts
Execution of a legacy gift agreement immediately entitles the donor to recognition as part of the School’s 1887 Legacy Society. Donors may choose to remain anonymous.
Camden Catholic High School operates in accordance with the Donor Bill of Rights and the Code of Ethics as published by the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
