SAVE THE DATE TO DONATE:
Inaugural One Day Giving Event on St. Patrick's Day
Irish Giving Day: Tuesday, March 17, 2015
If everyone gives a little, a little becomes a lot.
On March 17, 2015 Camden Catholic will hold its first ever Irish Giving Day! For 24 hours, midnight to 11:59 p.m., we will accept donations for this campaign; all proceeds are tax deductible and will benefit the 2015 Annual Fund. Click here to be directed to the donation page.
We encourage our friends, alumni and parents to make a contribution on St. Patrick's Day in celebration of the legacy of Camden Catholic. Current students will have the opportunity to participate in festive fundraisers throughout the day as well, with all proceeds going toward the Irish Giving Day.
The Board of Trustees of Camden Catholic High School have issued a special challenge to the graduating classes of 2005 through 2014:
The Board will match, dollar for dollar, your collective online contributions on March 17, 2015, up to $10,000. That means any gift from those class years is doubled for the school; if you give $50, the school gets another $50 from the Board. What an incredible opportunity!
If you have questions or want to find out how you can help support or market the Irish Giving Day please contact Lindsay Pizzuto at firstname.lastname@example.org.

As a private institution, Camden Catholic High School is dependent on the generosity of many benefactors who annually underwrite the operation of this school through their financial support. Tuition alone simply does not provide the revenue necessary for day-to-day operations. Therefore, the Development Office is charged with soliciting funds from alumni, parents, friends, businesses, and foundations. Thanks to our donors' generosity, Camden Catholic continues to offer an exceptional education - academically, socially and spiritually.
What is the Annual Fund?
The Annual Fund is a yearly fundraising effort that underwrites the operating budget of Camden Catholic High School. Gifts are solicited from alumni, parents, friends, corporations, and foundations.
How are these gifts used?
The Annual Fund furnishes the necessary resources to provide the exceptional educational experience for which Camden Catholic High School is known. Because it underwrites the operating budget, it touches each of our students every day. In fact, gifts to the Annual Fund are used for spiritual development, tuition assistance, faculty salaries, extracurricular activities, athletics, library and computer resources, instructional tools and items as mundane as building maintenance.
Why is my support necessary?
The income that Camden Catholic receives from tuition alone does not cover the full cost of the education. Without the generous private support we receive, we would either have to substantially raise tuition or significantly reduce the quality of the programs and opportunities we offer. In order to keep the tradition of Camden Catholic alive we must continue to depend on the generosity of parents, alumni, friends, and corporations.

Your donation is tax-deductible.
By donating appreciated securities to the school, a donor can realize significant savings on taxes, receiving a tax deduction equal to the appreciated value of the stock regardless of the original purchase price. Please call the Development Office for further information.
Gifts of Securities
An unrestricted gift is a donation which the benefactor allows Camden Catholic to use in any way it sees fit. Restricted gifts, on the other hand, are earmarked for specific purposes such as athletics, performing arts, library, etc. Although both types of gifts are important, gifts free of restrictions allow us to place resources where they are most immediately needed or where opportunities to reach the greatest number of our students are evident.
What is an Unrestricted Gift?
A matching gift by your company or organization extends your generosity by adding a match amount to your own gift, at no additional expense to you. Nationwide, more than 3000 companies, foundations and institutions offer gift-match programs. The impact is significant. If you have already made a gift to Camden Catholic High School or are about to make one, please check with your and/or your spouse's employer's human resources department to see if it has a corporate matching gift program. Don't forget, too, that many employers will match the gifts of their non-employee directors, retired employees, and the spouses, widows, or widowers of retired employees. Below is a list of groups and companies that have matched gifts to CCHS in past years. Many more companies will match gifts, so ask your group or employer about their current policy.
