Camden Catholic High School has a long and successful history in South Jersey high school sports. Our teams have won 88 conference championships and 31 state championships, with the most state championships in wrestling at 14 titles. More importantly every year we have students go on to play a sport in college at the Division I, II, and III levels with great success. Most recently one of our alumni, Michelle Vittese '08, played in the 2012 Olympics on the USA Field Hockey Team.
Nearly 75% of Camden Catholic students participate in athletics, which is an essential element of the balanced college preparatory curriculum that enriches the body, mind, and spirit. Besides statistics, our coaches genuinely care about the players as people. They develop their time management skills, disciplined routines, and learn how to win and lose. All of these are valuable skills for Camden Catholic graduates to take with them into the real world.
As a member of the highly competitive Olympic Conference, which consists of public and private high schools located in Burlington, Camden and Gloucester Counties, Camden Catholic offers 10 boys’ sports and 10 girls’ sports.
The majority of the athletic teams also offer junior varsity and freshman programs.
