Complete and hand in your “Activities and Work Experience Form” to the Guidance Secretary by the end of September at the latest.
Seniors will receive their college application guidelines, internet sites and additional guidance information in their homerooms on September 7th.
School Testing
The Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT) National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (NMSQT) will be administered to all Sophomores and Juniors on Wednesday, October 13th. Freshmen will be taking the ACRE test, a test on religion.
The PSAT/NMSQT measures verbal and mathematical reasoning skills that are important for success in college. The writing skills component focuses attention on the need for students to develop effective communication skills. Once you have the results of the PSAT/NMSQT, students are strongly recommended to utilize Quick Start at www.collegeboard.com.
