Class of 2010 Earns $15 Million in Scholarships

CHERRY HILL, NJ, July 6 – Camden Catholic High School in Cherry Hill announced that its 2010 graduating class earned more than $15 million in scholarship offers, exceeding last year’s total by $4 million.  Unlike many other secondary schools which include government and institutional loan offers in their scholarship totals, Camden Catholic reports only outright financial offers.

 “This was achieved because of Camden Catholic’s dedication to academic excellence,” said Thomas Kiely, principal.  “Colleges have come to know the high standards we set at our school and are confident that our graduates will perform very well in higher education.”

Each year, approximately 95% of Camden Catholic’s graduating seniors continue their education at two- and four-year colleges.  Students from this year’s class are attending institutions such as Columbia University, New York University, Boston College, University of Virginia, Villanova University, Boston University, George Washington University, Lehigh University, University of Wisconsin, Rutgers University, The College of New Jersey, The University of Scranton, St. Joseph’s University, and LaSalle University.
