Friday, September 28, 2018 – Camden Catholic students and faculty raised almost $2,000 to support pediatric cancer efforts during Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month. Funds were raised through the annual Go4TheGoal Dress Down Day, supporting this foundation which was created in memory of Richard Stefanacci, a former CCHS student, who lost his battle with Ewing’s Sarcoma after his freshman year at CCHS. Go4TheGoal’s unwavering mission is “to improve the lives of children battling cancer by providing financial support, developing and implementing unique hospital programs, funding innovative research, and granting personal wishes.”
In addition to the successful dress down day, CCHS students also hosted an Alex’s Lemonade Stand fundraiser throughout the day in the Pisa Dining Hall. Both events combined raised $1,966!
