The administration of Camden Catholic High School announced the following student-athletes in the class of 2018 signed letters of intent to play athletics in college on National Signing Day: Wednesday, February 7, 2018. The school hosted the students, parents and siblings, as well as their Camden Catholic coaches for a breakfast reception and photo opportunities in the Pisa Dining Hall. “We applaud these students for their dedication, determination and commitment to both their academics and their athletics throughout their high school careers,” said Mary Whipkey, President. “We look forward to continuing to follow their careers throughout college and beyond. And, we anticipate welcoming them back to CCHS to share their experiences with our younger students, as so many accomplished alumni have done in the past.”

CCHS alumna (class of 2011) and two-time All-South Jersey lacrosse player Caitlyn Brostrand, and LaSalle University class of 2015, returned to speak to the signees and offer her advice on using the foundation formed at Camden Catholic to succeed at the next level. Caitlyn was a stellar student-athlete at CCHS and LaSalle, being named to the Atlantic 10 All Conference first team twice, and Academic All-Conference three times. Caitlyn graduated with a degree in nursing and now works at Cooper University Hospital.
