Honoring Alumni Veterans

During National Veterans and Military Families Month Camden Catholic remembered and honored the extreme sacrifice that all veterans and their families have made and continue to make, especially our alumni and current student families. On Thursday, November 23, Thanksgiving Day prior to the annual Camden Catholic vs. Paul VI football game, Camden Catholic held a wreath-laying ceremony at the Alumni Veterans Memorial at the entrance to Shamrock Field.

Alumni veterans and your families gathered at the memorial, joining in prayer and a moment of silence to remember those Camden Catholic alumni who have served honorably to protect our country’s freedom. Thank you to alumni veterans Tom Holland ’68, Walt Sandell ’56 and Kevin Fallon ’68 who were present to lay the wreath. And a special thanks to Denis Reid, who secured several American flags for our football team to present at the memorial.
