Athletic Communion Breakfast

Rev. Rob Hagan, O.S.M. joins CCHS Student-Athletes and Families for First Annual Athletic Communion Breakfast

On Sunday, September 17, as a part of the Catholic Athletes for Christ program, Camden Catholic hosted the first annual Athletic Communion Breakfast with Mass celebrated by Rev. Joseph Capella, Director of Catholic Identity followed by special guest speaker Rev. Rob Hagan, Associate Athletic Director and chaplain of the men’s basketball and foottball teams, Villanova University.

Fr. Hagan spoke about keeping faith, and your relationship with God and Jesus paramount. He reminded the students, parents and coaches that despite the wins and losses and championships and records, your relationship with God, your humility and how you relate to others is the ultimate “win.”

Thank you to all of our coaches, students and parents who attended this very special event. For more information on the Catholic Athletes for Christ visit www.catholicathletesforchrist.org.
