Prospective Freshman Admissions Process
*Please note that CCHS is accepting students on a rolling basis. Please complete the Online Admissions Application at your earliest convenience to begin the process. The first round of acceptances is mailed on December 19, second round on January 15th and rolling admissions until July.
Step 1: Explore the website and see all that Camden Catholic has to offer.
Step 2: Submit the Camden Catholic Online Admissions Application.
Step 3: If an 8th grade student, schedule “The Irish Experience” visit/tour of Camden Catholic to feel the experience. Online registration coming soon
Step 4: Attend Open House on October 26, 2017, or if that event has passed, plan to attend the Admissions Information Session on February 1, 2018, or the Spring Open House on May 8, 2018 (click here for more details).
Step 5: Take the Scholarship and High School Placement Test (HSPT) on November 4, 2017 for admission and placement into 9th grade. We will accept test scores from other high schools, however, we cannot request these test scores. The family must request these scores to be sent to Camden Catholic.
*The test results will also determine which students would be eligible for academic scholarships. If you are interested in academic scholarships, the test must be taken at Camden Catholic. Test scores from other high schools cannot be accepted. To be eligible for scholarships the online admissions application must be received by November 30, 2017.
Step 6: Request your school to send transcripts to Camden Catholic. Please note if you attend a grammar school in the Camden Diocese you do not need to fill out the record release form. Those schools will provide parents/guardians with a diocesan release form. Click here for the Record Release Form.
Step 7: If interested in tuition assistance, please apply by January 15, 2018.
*Applications received after the deadline will be limited to remaining assistance after disbursement to those who met the deadline. There is a $10 application fee. This fee is from the Diocese of Camden and is a one-time only fee per family.
Step 8: Await your admissions decision letter to arrive at the end of December, for those who have applied by November 30. Admissions acceptances are made on a rolling basis through July for all who apply after November 30.
Step 9: Attend Freshman Registration for accepted students on February 24 from 8-11 a.m.
