The Camden Catholic Academic Olympics hosted almost 50 students in a battle of the brains on November 7, 2018. Schools represented included Resurrection Catholic School, St. Mary Williamstown, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, St. Paul Burlington, St. John Paul II, St. Cecilia, St. Joan of Arc, St. Peter and Christ the King.
Resurrection Catholic School won the team prize, in addition to having three students earn top honors: Jack Tartamosa (1st Place), Luke Keller (2nd Place), and Mason Quinn (3rd Place). The students began with a 100 question written test followed by dinner hosted by CCHS. The top 15 from the written test then compete in the “live question” round with Student Government president Simon Phillips as host. The top three scorers then competed in the final round with Admissions Director Howie Sexton moderating. The top three scorers receive (1st) $500 Tuition Certificate, (2nd) $250 Tuition Certificate and (3rd) $125 Book Award.
